1. Make a List of what you want to get or for whom you need gifts for.

Making a list will help you cover the most important things you want to buy or people you have to gifts for. yes you will probably buy items that are not on the list if they are great savings advantages.

2. Check out the Ads And the Apps

Most local Thanksgiving Day newspaper have a ton of ads, coupons, and circulars for black Friday from shops in your area. This is a major source for local Black Friday savings, So grab all the flier or ads sit on the kitchen table or any table and go through them.

This will help you organize your day to maximize savings as many stores offer special discounts that are time-specific, such as early bird special or door busters. You are also able to decide what you intend to get for who on the list. I suggest you get a backup plan so if what you want is not available, you can go to plan B item.

3. Check out the Apps

Many Android and iOS apps can help you on your Black Friday shopping. These apps will alert you when the stores you want to visit have special deals and coupons. some apps like Ebates from Rukutan and retailmenot will help you get the best deals. 

4. Do Your Research Well Before Thanksgiving

Start your research as soon as possible if you’re hoping to get the best deals on a big-ticket and regular items during the Black Friday sales. With a good research you can compare products(not all 55 inch TV’s are made equal so compare quality and look at honest reviews).




5. Compare Prices

 You should compare prices to see where you can get those items for the lowest price. Use price-comparison internet shopping sites like PriceGrabber.com and Pronto.com to help you compare product prices. Compare the various options and specifications included with the product. For example an iphone 11 with 128g will be cheaper than an Iphone 11 with 256g. even while shopping in the store on Blackfriday compare prices online using apps like shop savy and google shop to see if you are getting the best price.

6. Look for Early-Bird Shopper Discounts

Early bird special usually have the biggest savings deals, so find out the early bird deals in your area and when the stores will be open. Nowadays store like Wal-Mart open on Thanksgiving day in some states. while the rest will have midnight madness sales. Find out when the shop you intend to shop at will be open so you don’t miss a good deal.

7. Plan Where You Want to Shop

Knowing what you want to buy and where you want to buy it will help you in planning your strategy on how to get all you want. Have a strategy as to where to shop first. Prioritize the stores you don’t want to miss going to so you don’t miss out on great deals. Most shopping centers and shops have maps on their websites. If you have some great deals in two separate areas or locations you(family) can split up and cover both stores or locations. you can also communicate with other friends and family members who might be in that store to grab an item for you and you just reimburse them the money when you meet later.

You can still score great deals Online on thanksgiving day and in the pre-dawn hours of Black Friday. Many retailers will post Black Friday specials that can be ordered online and picked up at your local store or ship to home. retailers now have Special “web only” deals that are only available online and for a limited time. so check regularly. 

8. Bring the Ads

Some stores offer guarantee  “lowest price” or “Price Match”, and some will required you to produce proof of the exact product that’s being advertised for a lower price. Take any print ads you’ve saved with you. bring the ads with you to the store. A few retailer might match online price so check with your local store or ask.

9. Shop online with apps and browser extensions

Shop online with apps and browser extensions like Honey, Cently and  many more apps and extensions like these that can help you save money online. Honey which looks for coupon for items you want to buy and automatically apply it to your cart.

10. Score additionally with cash-back savings

You can save even more with cash back offers from Rakuten, befrugel, Mr. Rebate and TopCashback. Get rebates from 2 to 10% on most online shopping.  Rakuten formerly Ebates, give you cash back for shopping at a lot of different shops and the percentage cash back varies from store to store and product to product.

Price-history tool Camel (which works solely with Amazon) also have wish-list features, meaning if Black Friday or Cyber Monday isn’t producing the price you want for a particular item, you can set up an alert and they’ll notify you if and when a price cut occurs for that item.
